1958 Bentley S1
Finding one of these S1’s in original, unmolested condition is rarer than rare. Typically they change hands dozens of times over the decades and are poorly cared for, used and abused. Not this one. We’ve known this car for over 25 years. A very good friend of deGarmo Ltd. bought the car from the original owner around 1995 and has kept it in immaculate original condition. It is 100% rust free throughout. It’s had one respray, we believe in the early 1980’s and the interior is 100% original and absolutely mint. The owner has not used the car at all in quite a few years so it will require some recommissioning to get it back to mechanical perfection. In that regard we have just undertaken a comprehensive mechanical survey so we can advise on those issues in minute detail. Color is the original Tudor grey, interior is the original Biscuit Connolly hides, tan Wilton wool carpets and it still has its factory original lambs wool overlays. This is one of the more desirable S1’s with power steering and larger carburetors; Air conditioning has been tastefully added, stereo has been upgraded and the car comes with it’s original factory owner’s manual and all tools large and small.
