In 2005 Aston Martin brought the V8 Vantage name back into production with a completely redesigned and reimagined car. While the Vantage name had referred to high-performance variants of the Virage in the past, this Vantage was a stand-alone model designed around en entirely different concept. Instead of a brutish muscle car, this new V8 Vantage would be svelte, agile, and poised with the high-performance Porsche 911 varients in its crosshairs. The new Vantage embodied the spirit of British motoring, with a 6-speed manual transmission as a standard option (though an F1 style sequential gearbox was a popular option) and the handling prowess to dominate any European B-road. Aston Martin designed the 4.3L V8 using the technology they had developed in their racing cars to optimize the weight distribution of the new Vantage. To improve upon the center of gravity, the mid-front mounted, 380 horsepower V8 sits incredibly low thanks to the use of a dry-sump lubrication system. The 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage offered is a very low mileage example, with only 17,000 original miles on the odometer. Everything about this Vantage is original, with no history of paintwork or accidents. The 4.3L V8 sends power through the highly responsive 6-speed F1 style gearbox and performs as it would fresh off of the showroom floor. The deep grey metallic paint perfectly suits the hand-stitched Kestrel tan leather, creating the aggressive yet distinguished look that Aston Martin is so famous for. For the modern British motoring enthusiast, few cars are capable of offering the same style and substance. \
